Jenni David

Childcare Coordinator

TVC Responsibilities:
Building relationships with kids and families, stewarding and overseeing the learning environment and classrooms for various TVC events, and cultivating a safe environment where our children are respected and viewed as actual members of our church, not just children to be babysat

When and how did the Lord save you?
I grew up in a Christian home and don’t really remember a time I didn’t understand the gospel in its purest form—I was a sinner whom Jesus came to save. The Lord has revealed Himself the most to me in times of hardship and suffering. Those have been the times I have grown the most in my understanding of who God is and where my relationship with Him has deepened!

When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
We started attending TVC right after moving to Texas in September 2021. There were many things that felt like a good fit for our family, but it was specifically The Village’s Kids Ministry that drew me here.

If you were to have your childhood dream job, what would your job be?
As a really young child, I really wanted to be the Pink Power Ranger. As I got slightly older, I loved music and wanted to be a singer, though I was lacking in talent!

Which fictional character would you be friends with in real life, and why?
Anne Shirley on Anne of Green Gables. This was my Mom’s favorite movie. She passed away in 2010, and some of my favorite memories with her are watching AOGG and laughing at Anne’s antics. I’m also really drawn to constant optimism and feistiness. I know she would be a “kindred spirit” and we would be “bosom friends.”

Favorite Hobby:
I love to read, do puzzles, play games with my boys, cook + bake, and do Pilates.
