TVC Responsibilities:
I equip and mobilize our church to engage with local ministries, schools, and organizations, ensuring we meet tangible needs in our community while living out the gospel. I build relationships with nonprofits, city leaders, and community partners to create meaningful service opportunities that encourage TVC to live missionally, fostering a culture of compassion, generosity, and active faith. I cultivate a culture of prayer by organizing corporate prayer gatherings, overseeing intercessory and response prayer deacon initiatives, and integrating prayer into all aspects of ministry to deepen our dependence on God and the prioritization of His presence.

When and how did the Lord save you?
I grew up in a loving home where my parents faithfully took me to church—I don’t remember a time when we weren’t there. I was baptized at 8 and “knew” how to be a Christian, but I didn’t have a life filled with discipleship. Key turning points that deepened my faith were meeting my wife, Karin, and becoming a father, both of which showed me my need for God in a new way. Every day is a journey to walk one step closer to the Lord than I did the day before.

When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
After getting married, Karin and I moved to Flower Mound but continued commuting to our church in Irving. Over time, we realized the need to build deeper community where we lived, which led us to visit TVC in May 2010. We quickly felt at home and became invested in the life of the church. Thirteen years to the day after our first visit, I came on staff in May 2023.

If you had to give a TED Talk, what subject would you choose to speak on, and why?
“The Spiritual Gift of Last-Minute PowerPoint Slides” because it’s a humorous look at the chaos of preparation in both ministry and business, revealing what last-minute slide decks say about communication, planning, and the art of making things work under pressure

Favorite Hobby:
A favorite hobby of mine is roasting coffee with my daughter, Milana—we love experimenting with different beans and roast levels to get the perfect cup. I also enjoy the weeknight challenge of creating dinner on the fly—it’s like Chopped comes to the Green house, where the mystery basket is whatever’s left in the fridge! Beyond that, I love traveling and exploring different countries and cultures, especially experiencing local food and traditions along the way.
