Equip is a quarterly discussion centering on cultural issues of the moment and biblical wisdom for today’s world. Each Equip will focus its discussion around a specific topic and book. This fall, we will discuss Marilynne Robinson’s 2005 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel Gilead. Set in 1950s Iowa, this story is about a dying minister passing on wisdom to his 7-year-old son. It is a book about fathers and sons, the good life and death, community and vocation, and so much more. Read Gilead with us as we look for the wonder of the presence of God in even the most mundane of things. Please purchase the book and complete reading it before attending the event.
